Charlotte County which contains the cities of Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda might not be a hidden gem much longer. Every year, Money Magazine rates the top 300 places in America to live... For the past two years, Charlotte County has
been rated in the top 5 places to live. Some of the top courses locally are Riverwood, Bobcat Trail, Long Marsh and Heron Creek. Florida Suncoast are able to pre-book tee times for our guests at these courses and the Rotonda Golf and Country Club ensuring you have the opportunities you are looking for to play these excellent courses. Bookings and the special rates are available to all rental guests who have booked their holiday through either Florida-Golf-Coast, Florida Suncoast Vacations or Homesearch-Overseas Ltd.

Rotonda itself already offers 72 holes of golf with another 18 due to open in January 2004 and a further 9 or 18 in 2006. There are several packages available, offering everything from tuition to pre-booked tee-times on a variety of some of the best courses available locally.

• Average annual temperature is 73.9 degrees (highest month August is 82.8 degrees)
• Average of the low month is 63 degrees
• In summer, temperatures are usually in the low 90’s by day, low 70’s by night.
• Average annual rainfall is 52.55 ins
• Approx 2/3rds occurring June through September
• These rains have a cooling effect during the hot summer days.
